Ana Stojanoska will take 'Idnata Jas' to the Junior Eurovision stage in Malta.
North Macedonia has revealed its entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026, with Ana Stojanoska set to compete with 'Idnata Jas' (The Future Me).
The song was released today alongside its official music video, completing North Macedonia’s entry for this year’s contest.
'Idnata Jas' was written by Ilcho Nechovski, with music composed by Nikola Micevski. The song was unanimously chosen by a professional jury to represent North Macedonia, while Ana was selected through an open audition process.

At the heart of 'Idnata Jas' is a conversation between Ana and her future self.
The lyrics begin with memories written down in a childhood diary, before Ana imagines sending a song to the person she will eventually become. She wonders whether her future self still keeps the secrets she has today, whether she has found happiness and where her story will take her.
The chorus turns that idea into a hopeful message of self-discovery, with Ana singing about growing up and eventually meeting the person she is destined to become — 'the future me.'
The song also expands that dream beyond herself. Ana sings about her dreams growing wings and flying like a bird wherever she wishes, asking them to gather the strength needed to become reality.
The final lines return to the central message: wherever her future self may be and wherever her future home may be, she hopes she will remain true to herself.
With its focus on growing up, dreams, identity and the uncertainty of the future, 'Idnata Jas' places Ana’s own journey at the centre of North Macedonia’s Junior Eurovision entry.
