Asja Džogović will represent Montenegro at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song 'I tužna i srećna priča' (Both a Sad and Happy Story), marking the country’s return to the competition after ten years.
The song was composed by Danijel Alibabić, known for representing Serbia & Montenegro at Eurovision 2005 as part of the group No Name. The lyrics were written by Natalija Pavićević, and the arrangement was handled by Dejan Božović. The entry carries an emotional message, being dedicated to children without parental care.
Internally selected by the Montenegrin Broadcasting Company (TVCG), Asja is 13 years old and studies at Risto Ratković Elementary School in Bijelo Polje. She has already earned multiple music awards at regional festivals and pursues music alongside her interests in painting and volleyball.
The selection was made by an expert committee consisting of Stana Salgo (editor of TVCG’s music program), Branka Banović (music editorial office) and Igor Pejović (youth editorial office), who unanimously chose Asja after evaluating ten candidates and their achievements.
