At just 11 years old, Caruana has already taken part in a large number of music competitions and performed on many occasions. As a member of La Voix Harmonies, he reached the final of Malta’s Got Talent, before going on to take part in Italy’s Zecchino d’Oro. His latest achievement was winning the third season of The Voice Kids of Malta, securing his place as the country’s representative at Junior Eurovision 2026.
He has also done musical theatre, having participated in several local productions. As a young performer, he will now draw on his acting experience and tell the story of the ‘Blue Bird’ through his performance.
Despite France’s win in Tbilisi last year with Lou Deleuze’s ‘Ce monde’, the French broadcaster declined the hosting duties, making Beppe Caruana’s song the host entry for the 24th Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Caruana will perform on Saturday, 24 October at Ta’ Qali. He will follow Eliza Borg, who represented Malta last year with ‘I Believe’ and finished 11th with 92 points.
