Alec has released the official music video for ‘Comment Tu Vas ?’, the song he will perform for France at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Malta.
The young singer, pianist and guitarist will represent the reigning Junior Eurovision champions at the 24th edition of the contest, taking place on Saturday, 24 October, at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta' Qali.
‘Comment Tu Vas ?’ centres on a simple question and the reassurance of being there for someone. For Alec, asking how someone is doing is also a way of showing that they are seen, heard and supported.
Music has been part of Alec's life from an early age. He started playing the piano at five and the guitar at six, and also composes his own music. He co-wrote ‘Comment Tu Vas ?’ for Junior Eurovision 2026.
In 2025, Alec appeared on France Télévisions' N'oubliez Pas Les Enfants, where he won over audiences with his sensitivity, authenticity and personality. He has also performed in regional competitions, open mics and spontaneous piano sessions, including in train stations.
France has become one of the most successful countries in Junior Eurovision in recent years. The country has won the contest four times, with Valentina taking victory in 2020, Lissandro in 2022, Zoé Clauzure in 2023 and Lou Deleuze most recently in 2025. With four victories, France currently shares the record for most Junior Eurovision wins with Georgia.
