With the show fast approaching, the running order for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026 (DMGP) has now been confirmed. The Danish national selection will once again consist of a single grand final, set for Saturday, 14 February, where the winner will be crowned.
The show will open with Sander Sanchez, who previously competed in DMGP 2020, before closing with Ericka Jane’s ‘Death Of Me’. The line-up also features familiar names. Søren Torpegaard Lund returns after taking part in DMGP 2023 with ‘Lige her’, while reigning champion Sissal remains fresh in viewers’ minds following last year’s victory with ‘Hallucination’.
The eight acts competing in DMGP 2026 will perform in the following order:
1. Sander Sanchez – ‘Two Spirits’
2. Late Runner – ‘Can U Feel It?’
3. Søren Torpegaard Lund – ‘Før vi gÃ¥r hjem’
4. Sissal – ‘Infinity’
5. Emil Otto – ‘Copenhagen Noir’
6. Myrkur – ‘Touch My Love And Die’
7. Lasse Skriver – ‘Roaring Heart’
8. Ericka Jane – ‘Death Of Me’
The format remains unchanged from 2025. Two rounds of voting will once again decide the winner. In the first round, three of the eight songs will advance to the Superfinal. Votes will then be reset for the final round. Both rounds will be determined by a 50/50 split between the public televote and a jury.
Viewers across Denmark, including the Faroe Islands and Greenland, will be able to vote via the official ‘DR Grand Prix’ app or by SMS.
Sara Bro and Alex Høgh Andersen will host the show live from Arena Nord in Frederikshavn.
