Spain: First six acts qualify for Benidorm Fest 2026


Benidorm Fest 2026 kicked off on Tuesday night, 10 February, as the first semi-final took place at the Palau d’Esports L’Illa. Nine acts competed for a place in Saturday’s grand final.

This year, six acts qualified instead of the usual four. The results were determined with 50% coming from the expert jury and 50% from the public vote, with the public score divided equally between the demoscopic jury (25%) and the televote (25%).

Before the announcement of the six qualifiers, the individual results from both the jury and the public vote were revealed, in no particular order.

Benidorm Fest continues on Thursday, 12 February, with the second semi-final, where another nine acts will compete for the remaining spots in Saturday’s final. The show was hosted by Jesús Vázquez, Javier Ambrossi, Inés Hernand and Lalachus.
