This year, six acts qualified instead of the usual four. The results were determined with 50% coming from the expert jury and 50% from the public vote, with the public score divided equally between the demoscopic jury (25%) and the televote (25%).

Benidorm Fest continues on Thursday, 12 February, with the second semi-final, where another nine acts will compete for the remaining spots in Saturday’s final. The show was hosted by Jesús Vázquez, Javier Ambrossi, Inés Hernand and Lalachus.
