It’s official! Portugal has chosen its representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025, and her name is Inês Gonçalves! The young singer won the 2025 season of The Voice Kids Portugal, earning the chance to represent her country on one of the biggest music stages in Europe.
Inês Gonçalves impressed from the very beginning of the competition. During the blind auditions, she earned a “super pass” and joined the team of coach Miguel Cristovinho, who guided her through the rest of the season. Her performances stood out for their emotional expression and natural charm, showing musical maturity well beyond her years.
Inês will now prepare to represent Portugal at Junior Eurovision 2025, which will take place on 13 December in Tbilisi, Georgia, at the Olympic Palace (Small Hall). This marks the second time Georgia hosts the competition, following their victory in 2024.
The song Inês will perform is yet to be revealed, but expectations are already high.
Portugal joins countries like Albania, Poland, North Macedonia and Croatia, who have also announced their representatives for this year’s contest.
