Romanian broadcaster TVR has unveiled the longlist for Selecția Națională 2026. A total of 101 songs have been submitted to the competition, which returns after a two-year absence, following its last edition in 2023.
The submission window remained open for just under three weeks, closing on Monday, 2 February, during which composers and performers had the opportunity to enter the national selection. TVR has now confirmed the full list of all eligible entries. The longlist is as follows:

According to the competition regulations, the preselection stage is currently underway, with the names of the semi-finalists set to be revealed later this week.
Shortlisted artists will next take part in the 'Eurovision 2026 Open Workshop', the second phase of the competition, where they will perform their songs live in front of a professional jury over three days. These performances will be streamed live on tvrplus.ro, while all competing songs will also be published on TVR’s official YouTube channel.
On 12 February, the broascaster will announce the ten finalists advancing to the final stage of Selecția Națională 2026. The grand final is scheduled to take place on 4 March, at the TVR studios, where the winner will be chosen exclusively by a jury.
