One of the most anticipated national selections of the season took place this evening, 28 February, in Tampere. Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK) featured seven artists competing at the Nokia Arena.
At the end of the show, Linda Lampenius & Pete Parkkonen were crowned the winners with ‘Liekinheitin’, topping both the jury and the public vote, the latter by a margin of 340 points over second-placed Antti Paalanen. The full results are as follows:
