Heat 5 of Melodifestivalen 2026 took place this evening, 28 February, at the Gärdehov Arena in Sundsvall, as the final six acts competed for the remaining places in Stockholm.
Decided entirely by televote, two acts qualified directly for the grand final. The remaining places were determined through the ‘Final Qualifier’ round (Finalkval), which brings together the third-placed entries from each heat to compete for the last two spots in the final. The results of Heat 5 were as follows:

Following the conclusion of Heat 5, the ‘Final Qualifier’ vote decided the last two finalists. Meira Omar advanced directly as the highest-scoring third-placed entry from her heat, while Robin Bengtsson secured the remaining spot through the final round of public voting. The ‘Final Qualifier’ results were:
Meira Omar – ‘Dooset Daram’ – 227 pts
Robin Bengtsson – ‘Honey Honey’ – 437 pts (204 from the Heat + 233 from the Final Qual)
Eva Jumatate – ‘Selfish’ – 408 pts (198 from the Heat + 210 from the Final Qual)
Jacqline – ‘Woman’ – 385 pts (197 from the Heat + 188 from the Final Qual)
AléXa – ‘Tongue Tied’ – 343 pts (174 from the Heat + 169 from the Final Qual)
The grand final of Melodifestivalen 2026 will take place on Saturday, 7 March, in Stockholm, with the following twelve acts competing:
