Denmark’s public broadcaster DR has revealed the eight artists who will compete in Melodi Grand Prix 2026, the national music final scheduled to take place on 14 February in Frederikshavn.
The live show will be held at Arena Nord, where eight songs will be presented on a large-scale stage as Denmark selects its next representative through a single televised final. The evening will be hosted by Sara Bro and actor Alex Høgh Andersen, who will lead the broadcast from the opening performance through to the announcement of the winner.
The line-up was officially revealed today, confirming a mix of established names and new voices in this year’s competition.
Artists and songs in competition:
Among the competitors is Sissal, who returns to the Danish selection after winning last year’s edition. Her comeback is one of the main highlights of this year’s line-up.
The final on 14 February will bring all eight acts to the stage in a single show, with the winner decided through a combination of jury voting and public participation.
