The MESC 2026 semi-final will take place on Thursday, 15 January, followed by the grand final on Saturday, 17 January. The 12 qualifying acts will compete to become Malta’s next Eurovision representative and follow in the footsteps of Miriana Conte, who won MESC 2025 with 'Kant' (later retitled 'Serving').
Miriana Conte ended Malta’s three-year non-qualification streak, taking the country back to the Eurovision Grand Final and finishing 17th with 91 points.
