JESC 2025: Eliza Borg will represent Malta in Tbilisi

Malta has officially chosen its representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025. Young singer Eliza Borg emerged as the winner of 'The Voice Kids Malta' 2025, held on Saturday night, earning the right to represent her country at the 23rd edition of the competition.

The final was divided into two rounds. In the first stage, the six finalists — Eliza Borg, Mia Lanzon, Rachele Maria Nistica, Marie Emeh Camilleri, Carly Cachia Arpa and Oliver Zammit Attard — performed their audition songs once again. Each of the three coaches — Gianluca, Destiny, and Sarah — selected one contestant from their team to advance to the superfinal.

In the second round, the three remaining finalists took the stage twice, first to perform a duet with their coach and then to present the song they intend to perform at Junior Eurovision. The show also featured special guest performances from Dawn Desira, winner of the first season of 'The Voice Kids Malta', and Ramires Sciberras, Malta’s representative at Junior Eurovision 2024.

The result was determined exclusively by public voting, and the final ranking was as follows:

  1. Eliza Borg – Winner

  2. Carly Cachia Arpa

  3. Rachele Maria Nistica

With this victory, Eliza Borg succeeds Ramires Sciberras as Malta’s Junior Eurovision representative and will now prepare to take the stage at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025, set to take place later this year.
