JESC 2025: Albert Armenakyan for Armenia

Armenia has chosen its representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025. After taking part in the Armenian selection process for the past three years, Albert Armenakyan will finally get to live his "greatest dream" and perform in Tbilisi on 13 December.

Armenian broadcaster AMPTV announced that 12-year-old Albert Armenakyan was chosen through an internal selection process from over 80 participants. The Armenian jury included David Tserunyan, head of Armenia's delegation for Eurovision; Anna Tadevosyan, creative producer at AMPTV; Aram MP3, Armenia's representative at Eurovision 2014; Jako from Ladaniva, representative at Eurovision 2024; and director Arthur Manukyan.

Albert has taken part in several music projects and competitions in Armenia and abroad. This year he reached the finals of the 11th season of The Voice Kids France, where he was mentored by Patrick Fiori, France's Eurovision representative in 1993.

He shared his excitement about representing Armenia, and fans will get to hear his song for Tbilisi soon:

“I am very happy to represent Armenia at the Junior Eurovision. Dreams really do come true; you just have to always believe they will, with your whole heart. Singing on the big Junior Eurovision stage has been my greatest dream and today it is reality. It’s a great honour, and at the same time a great responsibility, and I’m ready for it. I promise to do everything to represent my country in the best possible way and I can’t wait to meet all the other artists in Tbilisi.”

Albert Armenakyan will follow in the footsteps of Leo, who performed 'Cosmic Friend' for Armenia at JESC 2024 in Madrid, having finished in 8th place with 125 points.
