Bhutan is set to select its first-ever representative for the Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 this Tuesday, 11 August, with the inaugural edition of Rhythm of Bhutan taking place this afternoon.
The national final, organised by the Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS), will determine who will represent the country at the first Eurovision Song Contest Asia, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on 14 November. The show will begin at 19:00 local time in Bhutan (15:00 CEST).
Five acts will compete for the honour of representing Bhutan: Baeyul 301, Karma Drupchu, Pelden Wangchuk, Thukten Nyendra and The Sangay Lhaden Band. Each finalist will perform a song in the national final, with the winner earning Bhutan's place in the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia.
Rhythm of Bhutan marks the beginning of Bhutan's journey towards Eurovision Asia and is the first national selection to take place for the 2026 edition of the competition.
