As usual, SVT has released snippets of the six competing songs for the final heat, ahead of their release on streaming platforms starting this Friday. The songs competing in Heat 5 are:
AleXa – ‘Tongue Tied’
JULIETT – ‘LÃ¥ngt frÃ¥n alla andra’
Bladë – ‘Who You Are’
Lilla Al-Fadji – ‘Delulu’
Vilhelm Buchaus – ‘Hearts Don’t Lie’
Sanna Nielsen – ‘Waste Your Love’
Two acts will qualify for the grand final, scheduled for next weekend, 7 March, in Stockholm. The act finishing in third place will advance to the ‘Final Qual’, where it will compete for a second chance to reach the final. Voting will once again be decided entirely by the public.
The acts currently through to the ‘Final Qual’ are:
Jacqline – ‘Woman’ (Heat 1)
Robin Bengtsson – ‘Honey Honey’ (Heat 2)
Eva Jumatate – ‘Selfish’ (Heat 3)
Meira Omar – ‘Dooset Daram’ (Heat 4)
Two of these acts, together with the third-place finisher from Heat 5, will compete in an additional round of voting after the Heat 5 qualifiers are announced. One act will qualify directly for the final based on its vote share, while viewers will choose the last finalist from the four remaining entries.
In total, twelve acts will compete in the Melodifestivalen 2026 final.
Heat 5 of Melodifestivalen 2026 will take place at the Gärdehov Arena at 20:00 CET, this Saturday, 28 February, with Gina Dirawi and Hampus Nessvold as hosts.
