JESC 2026: Caleb Kirwan & Naomi Gribben to represent Ireland with 'Níos Láidre'

 

Caleb Kirwan and Naomi Gribben will represent Ireland at the 24th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta with the song 'Níos Láidre', following a joint victory in the Irish national selection, Junior Eurovision Éire.

Ireland has selected its representatives for Junior Eurovision 2026, completing the 16-country lineup for the contest, which will take place on Saturday, 24 October, in Malta.

The duo secured their place after impressing the jury during the Irish selection. Unable to choose between the two performers, the judges named both Caleb and Naomi winners, giving them the opportunity to compete together on the international stage.

Their entry, 'Níos Láidre', focuses on friendship, mutual support and unity, conveying the message that people can become stronger when they stand together. 


Who are Caleb Kirwan and Naomi Gribben?

Fourteen-year-old Caleb comes from Dublin and has been passionate about performing from a young age, with interests spanning singing, dancing and acting. He has recently appeared in theatre productions including Beauty & The Beast, Cinderella and Everybody's Talking About Jamie.

Naomi, aged 13, is from Mayobridge in County Down, Northern Ireland. Supported by her local community, she has developed her singing talent and taken part in international singing competitions. Outside music, she enjoys acting, ice skating and shopping.
