RTVE will announce the artists competing in Benidorm Fest 2027 on Wednesday, 14 October, during a press conference broadcast live on RTVE Play.
The participants for the sixth edition of Benidorm Fest will be unveiled at 17:00 CEST on 14 October, with the announcement available to watch for free on RTVE Play. Ahead of the reveal, Ángela Fernández and David Andújar will host a special edition of Control Central, starting at 16:00 CEST, offering viewers a preview of the event and behind-the-scenes coverage from RTVE’s Prado del Rey studios.
RTVE received close to 900 songs for Benidorm Fest 2027 during the 115-day submission period, with around 350 entries arriving in the final 24 hours. The selected artists will compete in the sixth edition of the festival, which is scheduled to take place from 23 to 30 January 2027 at the Palacio de los Deportes L'Illa in Benidorm.
The songs competing in the festival are expected to be released on 17 December 2026. The winner of Benidorm Fest 2027 will be determined during the event.
Benidorm Fest artists to perform at Shakira’s ES LATINA
RTVE has also announced that artists associated with Benidorm Fest will feature in the final weekend of ES LATINA, the cultural platform launched by Shakira in Madrid. Performances will take place at Macondo Park on 10 and 11 October, between 14:00 and 16:00 CEST.
On Saturday, ASHA, MAYO, Atyat, J Kbello, K!NGDOM and the latest Benidorm Fest winners, Tony Grox & LUCYCALYS, will perform. Sunday’s lineup includes Sofía Martín, Dani J, Kenneth, Kuve, Mel Ömana and Chanel, who won Benidorm Fest in 2022 and went on to finish third at the Eurovision Song Contest with 'SloMo'.
