Italy: Sal Da Vinci’s ‘Per sempre sì’ wins Sanremo 2026


The Festival di Sanremo 2026 came to an end this Saturday evening, 28 February, with Sal Da Vinci emerging as the winner of the 76th edition of the Italian festival.

Across five nights at the Teatro Ariston, thirty artists competed with their entries before returning to the stage for the Grand Final, hosted by Carlo Conti alongside Laura Pausini. The final result took into account the votes from the previous nights and a new round of voting on Saturday, split between the press jury representing print, TV and web media (33%), the radio jury (33%), and the public televote (34%).

At the end of the voting, Sal Da Vinci topped the final ranking ahead of Sayf and Ditonellapiaga, earning the traditional Golden Lion trophy and securing his victory at Sanremo 2026. The top five acts advanced to the Superfinal.

2. Sayf – ‘Tu mi piaci tanto’ (21,9%)

3. Ditonellapiaga – ‘Che fastidio!’ (20,6%)

4. Arisa – ‘Magica favola’ (18,9%)

5. Fedez & Masini – ‘Male necessario’ (16,5%)

Across the first three nights, the top five acts were revealed in random order.

First night
All thirty artists presented their songs, with voting decided entirely by the press jury.

Second night
Fifteen artists performed again, with voting split equally between the radio jury and the televote.

Tommaso Paradiso – ‘I romantici’
Ermal Meta – ‘Stella stellina’
Nayt – ‘Prima che’
Fedez & Masini – ‘Male necessario’

Third night
The remaining fifteen artists performed under the same voting combination.

Cover Night
During the traditional Cover Night, artists performed a song of their choice from either the Italian or international repertoire. Voting combined the televote (34%), press jury (33%) and radio jury (33%). The top ten were:
