The Swedish national broadcaster SVT has released snippets of the songs that will compete in the first Heat of this year's Melodifestivalen.

Noll 2 – 'Berusade ord (Eng: Drunk Woods)'
Manoel “Junior” Marques Lerin – 'Copacabana Boy'
Indra Elg – 'Beautiful Lie'
A*Teens – 'Iconic'
Based on 100% public voting, out of the six competing songs, only the two most-voted acts will qualify for the final. The act finishing in third place will advance to the qualification round, where it will compete for a second chance to reach the final.
The first semi-final of Melodifestivalen 2026 will take place at the Saab Arena in Linköping on Saturday, 31 January, at 21:30 CET, with Gina Dirawi and Hampus Nessvold serving as hosts.
