After a week of daily duels on NRK’s radio show Nitimen, eight contenders competing for the very last spot in the Melodi Grand Prix (MGP) 2026 line-up were whittled down to a single winner. Skrellex takes the crown, rounding out the roster of artists for Norway’s national selection.
Following the announcement of the confirmed finalists for the MGP 2026 line-up, one final slot remained to be filled. Emmy, Skrellex, Gothminister, Vika Anonymous, Aranja, Sander Silva & Victorjus, Raylee and Thomas Jenssen took on the radio competition MGP Cup, with the outcome left entirely in the hands of the public.

Melodi Grand Prix 2026 will consist of a single televised show, set to take place on 28 February at HÃ¥kons Hall in Lillehammer, Norway. The final will be hosted by Marte Stokstad, Markus Neby and Ronny Brede Aase.
