Latvia has selected the first five finalists of Supernova 2026. The opening semi-final took place tonight, with 12 performers on stage and only five earning a ticket to the final set for 14 February.
This year’s Supernova features 24 competing entries divided across two televised semi-finals. The first semi-final marked the beginning of the elimination process, blending jury scores and public response to determine who would move forward in the competition.
The artists advancing to the final are:
Kautkaili – 'Te un tagad'
De Mantra – 'Let Them'
Emilija – “All We Ever Had'
Tikasha Sakama – '#010126 Coda'
Elpo – 'Blakus'
The remaining semi-finalists — Antra Stafecka, Agnesse, Blurie, Aivo Oskis, Daba, Honey Blue and Ivo GrÄ«sniņš GrÄ«slis — were eliminated from the race. The next semi-final, that happens next saturday, will complete the line-up for the Latvian final.
