San Marino has revealed the artist who will represent the country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Malta.
11-year-old Italian singer Violamarie will fly the Sammarinese flag at the 24th edition of the contest, which will take place in Ta' Qali on 24 October.
Broadcaster SMRTV announced Violamarie as the country's sixth Junior Eurovision representative. She has received musical training in several academies across Liguria, Lombardy and the Rimini area, studying singing, dance, acting, music and voice acting.
Violamarie has also built a significant presence on social media, with more than 350,000 followers across her platforms and over one billion views. Her musical repertoire includes Disney classics as well as pop songs from the 1990s and 2000s.
According to SMRTV, her talent has also led to collaborations and recognition from artists and musicians including Eros Ramazzotti, Tosca, Giorgia, Pietro Morello, Adriano Pennino, Pierpaolo Guerrini, Silvia Mezzanotte and Fiorella Mannoia.
San Marino made its Junior Eurovision debut in 2013 with Michele Perniola and ‘O-o-O Sole Intorno A Me’, finishing tenth. The country returned to the competition in 2024 after a ten-year absence.
In 2025, Martina CRV achieved San Marino’s best result at Junior Eurovision so far, finishing ninth with ‘Beyond The Stars’.
Violamarie will now become the country’s representative for the 2026 edition, joining the growing lineup for the contest in Malta.
