Norwegian singer-songwriter Mathilde SPZ has released 'BEND FOR ME NOW', the second single from her upcoming debut EP, 'Quiet Confidence'.
The artist first announced the release earlier this week, teasing the song with the message: "You'll get it when you hear it." Following its release, she described it as her "angry song for not-angry people".
According to Mathilde SPZ, the song was inspired by the experience of constantly putting other people's needs before your own until reaching a breaking point. She revealed that BEND FOR ME NOW was written during Loki Songcamp in February after she felt the need to vent.
My outburst became BEND FOR ME NOW. I needed to vent and now you can hopefully use it to vent too.
The track was written by Mathilde SPZ, Vanja V, Ryss and KayBii. Ryss was also responsible for the mixing,
'BEND FOR ME NOW' is the second preview of Mathilde SPZ's debut EP, 'Quiet Confidence', which is expected to be released later this year.
