Sweden: SVT reveals running order for Melodifestivalen 2026 heats

 


Sweden’s national broadcaster SVT has announced the running order for the five heats of Melodifestivalen 2026.

The competition will open in Linköping on January 31, with Greczula performing 'Half of Me'. and conclude the heats in Sundsvall on February 28, with Sanna Nielsen closing the lineup with 'Waste Your Love'.

Melodifestivalen 2026 will be hosted by Gina Dirawi and Hampus Nessvold across six cities, culminating in the final at Stockholm’s Strawberry Arena on March 7. Some returning artists, including Medina, Smash Into Pieces, Greczula, Vilhelm Buchaus, Meira Omar, Saga Ludvigsson, and Arwin, are among the participants.

The lineup also features previous Swedish representatives Robin Bengtsson (2017) and Sanna Nielsen (2014), as well as AleXa, who won the first American Song Contest in 2022.
