Karolina Ilić was initially announced as one of the performers with the song 'Breathe Her In'. However, she was later disqualified for not meeting the requirements set out in the national selection’s Competition Rules, as she does not hold Croatian citizenship.
In accordance with those rules, first reserve artist Gabrijel Ivić has now been given the opportunity to compete at Dora 2026 with the song 'Light Up'.
Coincidentally, Baby Lasagna’s Dora 2024 journey famously began on the reserve list, before Zsa Zsa’s withdrawal opened the door for his participation.
The exact dates for Dora 2026 have yet to be confirmed, though HRT has stated that the competition will take place in February.
