Spain: Meet the 18 acts competing at Benidorm Fest 2026



The fifth edition of Benidorm Fest is officially underway! On Thursday, October 9, RTVE announced the lineup for next year’s contest. In a special broadcast, the Spanish broadcaster revealed the 18 lucky contestants who will take to the Benidorm Fest stage next February for a chance to represent Spain at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, selected from over 870 song submissions.

The Benidorm Fest 2026 contestants are:

Asha 
Hajar Sbihi, known as ASHA, is a Moroccan-Spanish singer and songwriter blending urban pop, flamenco, and multilingual sounds. She has worked with RedOne and Quincy Jones and written for Becky G, C. Tangana, and Danna Paola. Her latest single, 'SOLA', mixes Arabic and Spanish, showing her multicultural roots and modern style.


Atyat
A Madrid-born singer, dancer, and actress of Cordoban and Egyptian heritage. Inspired by Shakira, Atyat combines strong vocals with expressive movement. She has performed at big events like Madrid Pride and explored bachata with Dellacruz (participant in the third edition of the Benidorm Fest).


Dani J
European bachata artist Dani J mixes pop, flamenco, trap, and R&B. He has toured over 30 countries and founded his own label in 2022. Recent songs include 'Caprichito', '7 Pecados', and 'Entre la espada y la pared'.


Dora & Marlon Collins
Dora is a singer and actress, daughter of model Bimba Bosé and musician Diego Postigo. Started playing the piano at 5 and later started releasing music on YouTube. Marlon Collins studied drama in Havana and Madrid. Together, they bring a fresh take on pop to Benidorm Fest.


Funambulista
Diego Cantero, known as Funambulista, is a respected Spanish pop singer-songwriter. Hits like 'Me gusta la vida' and 'Quiero que vuelvas' have made him popular, and he has written for Raphael, Malú, and Edurne.


Greg Taro
After spending his childhood in Japan, Greg Taro started with the group Urban Lights with his brother Álvaro Soler before moving to Berlin to pursue a solo career. He has collaborated with Martin Garrix and Gabry Ponte, blending electronic pop and international sounds.


Izan Llunas
At just 14, he won a Gold Record for his soundtrack. His music, which has led him to collaborate with artists such as Twin Melody, has racked up millions of streams and has made him one of the most promising young artists in Spanish-speaking pop. Grandson of Dyango and son of Marcos Llunas, he has millions of streams and is a rising star in Spanish-language pop.


Kenneth
Venezuelan-Spanish singer Kenneth started on La Voz Kids. His music blends Afrobeat with R&B, dancehall, and electronic influences. He has seven singles with over five million streams and performs with Panorama City.


KITAI
Spanish rock band KITAI, led by Kenya Saiz, has been active for over ten years. With four albums and collaborations with Second, Varry Brava, and Miss Caffeina, they bring energetic rock to Benidorm Fest.


KU Minerva
Catalan singer Minerva Pérez, known as KU Minerva, became famous with 'Llorando por ti', reaching #3 on Billboard Hot Latin Tracks. She has four albums and performed at major festivals in Spain and Latin America.


Luna Ki
Catalan artist Luna Ki returns after four years. Known for emotional music focused on mental health and LGBTQ+ themes, she now reduces autotune to connect more directly with her audience.


María León & Julia Medina
Mexican singer-actress María León and Spanish singer Julia Medina form a dynamic duo. María started with T’ de Tila and Playa Limbo, while Julia became known on Operación Triunfo 2018. Together, they mix theatrical and pop elements.


Mayo
Sevillian singer MAYO became known through Operación Triunfo. His music combines contemporary pop with personal lyrics. His first album, MAYO SEASON, includes collaborations with Mar Lucas and Elettra Lamborghini.


Mikel Herzog Jr.
Son of Eurovision 1998 representative Mikel Herzog, Mikel Jr. grew up in a musical family. He has experience in musical theater and Tu Cara Me Suena, showing skills as a singer, actor, and dancer.


Miranda! & bailamamá
Argentine pop duo Miranda! joins Spanish project bailamamá. Miranda! is famous in Latin America and Spain, with hits like Don and Perfecta, while bailamamá is Óscar Ferrer’s new band after Varry Brava.


Rosalinda Galán
Rosalinda Galán combines contemporary copla with electronic music. She has released songs like 'Farsa Monea' and 'CU4RTO', acted in films like Historias lamentables, and performed in theater.

 
The Quinquis
The Quinquis update the 1970s “quinqui” sound with electronic, funk, and urban beats. The group members include Marcos Miranda, Reys (Sergio Sastre from Miss Caffeina), and Maxi. Their debut single covers Te Estoy Amando Locamente.


Tony Grox & Lucycalys
Tony Grox, producer and DJ, fuses flamenco with electronic music, and LUCYCALYS combines pop with modern flamenco. Both have extensive experience, including Latin Grammy-nominated production work.


The entries will be released on December 18. Semi-finals are set for February 10 and 12, followed by the Grand Final on February 14. Up to six reserve songs have also been selected in case any of the main entries are withdrawn.

Sergio Jaén will serve as artistic director, joined by Borja Rueda (choreography), Ari Levelä (visual direction and stage design), José María Payueta (production), and Mercè Llorens (direction).

With this announcement, Spain becomes the first country of the Eurovision 2026 national final season to reveal its potential representative. Still, questions remain about Spain’s participation, as RTVE has said it may withdraw if Israel competes. Even so, the broadcaster has confirmed that Benidorm Fest 2026 will go ahead as planned.
